How to Apply Liquid Ski Wax
Follow these steps to ensure your skis are prepared for optimal performance with a liquid wax application:
- 1. Brush with Bronze Brush: Start by brushing the base of your skis with a bronze brush to remove any old wax and open the pores for better wax absorption.
- 2. Apply Liquid Wax: Evenly apply a layer of liquid wax across the entire ski base for a smooth, protective coating.
- 3. Wait 5 to 10 Minutes: Allow the liquid wax to set and dry on the ski base for 5 to 10 minutes.
- 4. Scrape Off Excess Wax: Use a plastic scraper to remove any excess wax, working from tip to tail.
- 5. Brush with Nylon and Horsehair Brushes: First, brush the base with a nylon brush to remove any remaining wax particles. Finish with a horsehair brush for a polished, smooth finish.
