About the Product
While the Atomic Redster STR 2 LC is for lighter or junior racers, the only thing junior about this boot is the cuff height, which sits just a bit lower for shorter legs. Everything else is on par with Atomic’s top-of-the-line World Cup boots. Atomic’s World Cup Gold Low liner is made from soft internal foam that delivers a cushioned fit, as well as cuff lacing to improve responsiveness and skiing precision. A slim-fitting 91mm Narrow Racing Last and sizing that goes down to Mondo Point 21 means smaller and lower volume feet can get a locked-in, ready-to-rip feel. Thin yet powerful STR Wall Thickness and 90 flex rating allows petite athletes to flex the boot without sacrificing power and control. Depending on foot shape and compression tolerance, junior racers who like this boot may also want to consider the Redster TX LC, which comes in several flex options. Redster Solid Sole interfaces smoothly with alpine race bindings.
